In mid-2017, the public interest in the Raikov Effect suddenly started to rise after a personal growth course creator Inspire3 launched a self-help program during that time.
However, the history of the Raikov Effect dates back to the 1960s when a Russian psychiatrist Dr. Vladimir Leonidovich Raikov conducted some quite unusual experiments with hypnotism.
Based on his experiments, Vladimir Raikov also published quite a few research papers in reputed journals of science and psychology.
His research was also studied by the CIA for a classified work on Soviet
research on human vulnerability. The findings were later declassified in 2003.
However, for a large part, the Raikov Effect remained only within the field of niche academic research.
So, it must be mentioned that the Raikov Effect course by Inspire 3 did a huge good in bringing up this important piece of work to the surface for the self-help and personal growth enthusiasts to practice.
How effective is the program developed by the company is a matter of separate discussion, though. We will look into that later in the article.
First, let’s take a look at some of the basic premises of the Raikov Effect.

What’s Raikov Effect?
Raikov Effect is an impact of certain kinds of hypnotic and visualization practices that can enable one to assume, borrow, mimic, or even manifest another person’s talents and genius.
It’s based on Russian psychiatrist Vladimir Raikov’s research work and experimentation on hypnosis.
Raikov’s work was mostly about inducing deep-state hypnosis in subjects and installing suggestions in their subconscious, making them believe that they are someone else. In this case, Raikov made his subjects believe that they are famous, talented personalities.
What happened during these experiments was quite surprising and extraordinary.
Raikov’s subjects surprisingly started displaying the talents and genius of the target personalities.
What Was Vladimir Raikov’s Experiment?
Raikov’s study consisted of three groups of students.
- One group was neither hypnotized nor received any other therapies.
- The second group was hypnotized but only received positive suggestions.
- The third group was hypnotized and was led to believe that they were in the skin of great musicians.
And guess what, the third group scored the highest in their musical abilities, expressions, and interpretability.
And most interestingly, the talent was seen to be retained significantly even after the hypnotic sessions ended.
One way it was explained by Raikov himself is that somehow the students’ latent talents are getting unlocked due to identification with the personalties with such talents.
Another explanation was that the students were regressed to an early age. From there they started to ‘associate into the model and grew up mastering the musical instrument as the master musician’.
Later on, this process was also studied by some other psychologists and academicians in the subsequent years. The effect was labeled as various other terms such as Artificial Reincarnation, Deep Trance Identification (DTI), Borrowed Genious, and others.
Many other researchers and practitioners have also found that hypnosis is not totally required for humans to borrow talents or genius from other geniuses.
You can do that very well using other techniques like creative visualization, self-affirmation, placebo effects, and others.
And from these premises comes the popular personal transformation program from Inspire 3.
You wouldn’t be surprised to know that a similar self-help course was also released in 2013.
A few other psychiatrists and therapists also used to offer Raikov Effect coaching sessions independently on their own.
This brings us to the aspect of usefulness of Raikov Effect and the courses.
How Much Does the Rikov Effect Work
You have asked the right question. How much does the Raikov Effect actually work?
Well, the answer really is that it depends on multiple factors.
The evidence to back up such hypnotic practices and their efficacy can not be doubted.
There are bonafide scientific evidence and research to back them up unequivocally.
However, it must be mentioned that not all are equally hypnotizable. The effects of hypnosis work differently on different people.
So, trying to achieve the Raikov Effect via hypnosis practices may not be successful most of the time. It’s also evident that no other hypnotists or psychotherapy coaches are offering such services.
On the other hand, the toned-down versions of the effect via courses and programs, like the one from Inspire 3, can only help to a certain extent.
The usual high-sounding claims on the program website and other affiliates are on par with such course creators. But they only go as far as sounding high without actually producing much of a real-life effect.
You can easily guess that by comparing the verbiage on their marketing materials and the real customer reviews from third-party independent review platforms like Trustpilot.
Whereas the videos and other marketing materials claim that the course will allow you to change your life or assume the mindset of anybody you want effortlessly and it will enable to you recreate your life to live the dream that you always had, again and again, the customer reviews were pretty much toned down and realistic.
Here are a few from Trustpilot:
Even the positive reviews are not claiming to be anything out of the ordinary. Any teaching methods involving visualization and manifestation techniques can bring such results.
What Can You Actually Expect from the Raikov Effect
To tell you the truth, the course from Insprie 3 is not much different from already available resources on the Law of Attraction, creative visualization, and manifestation techniques.
So, what you can realistically expect from the program is the same old information but seen through the lens of Vladimir Raikov’s research on acquiring the genius and creative power of someone else.
You will see some new techniques of visualization and manifestation like genius modeling, becoming a character, and the as-if technique.
So these can definitely enrich your already existing toolset for visualization and manifestation techniques.
These will also help you create the feel of the things and events you want to attract as required by the law of attraction — as you feel, so you attract.
On the other hand, if you are an adept practitioner of visualization techniques and deep meditative states, you can also get closer to achieving a similar magnitude of the genius of the person you are trying to model. But it’s going to be on the rarer end of the spectrum.
Other Similar Courses to the Raikov Effect
There are quite a few good courses in the market that you can try out to learn similar things like visualization, manifestation, and the Law of Attraction.
Here are the best courses on Raikov Effect and similar practices:
Life Visioning Mastery from Mindvalley.
Magic In your Mind from Bob Proctor and Sandy Gallagher.
Conscious Manifestation 2021 from our very own Eckhart Tolle, the writer of the groundbreaking bestseller The Power of Now.
As the underlying premise of the Raikov Effect is quite similar to the law of attraction, you can also check out these good-enough courses on the practical aspects of the law of attraction:
Origins: Your Personal Source Of Limitless Power by Katherine Hurst
The Science Behind The Secret by Bob Doyle & Dr. Travis Taylor
You should also watch the movie The Secret and read the book by the same title by Rhonda Byrnen, if you haven’t already.
On another note, trying out some Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) courses will also do a lot of good for your journey towards understanding the Raikov Effect. It’s no surprise that the Raikov Effect and the work of Vladimir Raikov is also a significant force behind the development of NLP.

Books related to the Raikov Effect
There are not many books written that directly talk about Raikov Effect.
One of the books that directly discuss the Raikov Effect is “Deep Trance Identification: Unconscious Modeling and Mastery for Hypnosis Practitioners, Coaches, and Everyday People” by Shawn Carson, Jess Marion, and John Overdurf.
Here are a few good books that you can power through real quick to master all the aspects of the Raikov Effect:
- Borrowed Genius Win Wenger and Harman Max Benda.
- The Einstein Factor: A Proven New Method for Increasing Your Intelligence by Win Wenger and Richard Poe.

We will keep updating this article with future developments as they keep unfolding.
